Warriors Chances of Winning Tossed Along with Draymond
This game was a throw away game once Draymond was thrown out. All the new lineups and rotations didn't matter because Kerr was just experimenting and seeing what would work. What can be taken away from the game is the Warriors have a razor thin margin for the playoffs and no current answer when Green is out. Not only does he greatly increase their defense efficiency but they don't have another ball handler can that take his place and run the same offense. If Draymond gets nicked up and has to miss a few games at some point, the Warriors would be in trouble.
There were some good positive signs for this team on Thursday night though. Wiggins continued to be Mr. Consistency getting 17 points and 9 rebounds. Wiseman followed up his 20 point night with a 15 pt 8 reb performance. Wiseman is now averaging 11.6 pts and 6.1 rebs, putting him in elite company for teenage big men in NBA history. Paschall scored his 1000th point in only 74 career games, making him the fastest Warriors 2nd round pick to ever hit that mark.
Next up are the Jazz in Utah on Saturday. Then two games in a row vs the Timberwolves, Wiggins better start eating his Wheaties and getting hydrated now.
